Army spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said that the security forces yesterday (09) captured a large training center maintained by LTTE in Mulliyveli West in Kilinochchi.In the camp that is considered LTTE’s biggest training center, there was an underground bunker, a 30 x 30 feet bunker, 11 more ordinary bunkers on the surface, two lecture halls of 75 x 50 feet size, one 200 x 100 feet dining hall, one 35 x 35 feet kitchen and a 30 x 30 feet office, said the Media Center for National Security (MCNS).Brigadier Nanayakkara said that the LTTE cadres retreated following a fierce battle with Army that was advancing to capture the training center. Twelve bodies of LTTE cadres together with five T 56 weapons and a radio set was recovered in the camp.
