A huge arms, ammunition and explosive consignment which had been buried secretly by the fleeing terrorists in general area Chalai in Mullaittivu was uncovered by the troops of 55 Division this morning, latest military sources said.Troops of 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) serving under 553 Brigade have uncovered the arms and ammunition consignment acting on intelligence information, defence sources said. This is the largest arms and ammunition consignment ever found from this area, military official said.Following list of items were also among the recoveries:
