President Mahinda Rajapakse says the security forces will defeat the LTTE terrorism and safeguard the motherland to bring victory to all communities including Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim in this country. President also said the Tamil people who are trapped under LTTE terrorism in Kilinochchi will be liberated very soon. He made these comments at the passing out ceremony of army cadet officers at Diyathalawa Military academy. President Rajapakse also stated the humanitarian military operations are being carried out shredding the differences of religion, language and race by the security forces is well appreciated by all sectors of the Sri Lankan community. The security forces are marching towards the Kilinochchi amidst adverse weather conditions. The forces are engaged in humanitarian military operations with dedication and determination. 151 army cadet officers of intake 70 passed out today at Diyathalawa Military Academy. President Mahinda Rajapakse medals and shields to the cadet officers who have excelled in their performance during the training period. Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse, Army Commander Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka and senior military officers also attended this function.
